Nikon introduces new ACULON A211 binoculars

Outstanding optical performance does not need to cost a fortune. Nikon has never wavered from its mandate to provide customers with premium products for a reasonable price. The newest range of binoculars is proof of this commitment. The new ACULON A211, which inherits the excellence performance of existing models, delivers a stunning performance for the budget conscious consumer.

The Aculon A211 binoculars are designed for a wide range of leisure time activities such as traveling, hiking or open air events. Moreover, with 9 models, everybody will find the binoculars that perfectly fits its needs.

Cutting-edge technology is at the heart of every Nikon product. ACULON A211 binoculars are no exception. With multilayer-coated lenses and a choice of large objective lens diameters, they offer extremely bright images and a wide field of view.

Breathtaking visual experiences also result from the use of aspherical eyepiece lenses. The elaborate shape minimises viewing aberrations and maximises the sharp, undistorted quality of the image across the entire surface of the lens. ACULON A211 binoculars also feature comfortable turn-and-slide rubber eyecups to facilitate positioning of the eyes. Aspherical lenses and turn-and-slide rubber eyecups are not available on Zoom models.

ACULON A211 binoculars are designed for heavy-duty use. Shock resistant rubber armoring protects the optical device and ensures a firm, comfortable grip.

An adaptable Nikon tripod is included with ACULON A211 16x50 and ACULON A211 10-22x50. All other ACULON A211 models can also be mounted on a tripod.

Nikon Sport Optics introduces a cutting edge laser rangefinder

Golfers of all skill levels can improve their game by using the latest technology from Nikon: the Coolshot AS laser rangefinder.

This high performance tool not only measures the distance to the hole quickly and accurately, it also features Nikon's angle compensation technology. It takes into account the height of the target, and instantly provides both the actual horizontal and slope-adjusted distance within a range of 10-550 m (11-600 yd).

The Target Priority Switch has two measurement modes: First Target and Distant Target. The First Target Priority mode is ideal for golfers because it offers a precise measurement of the distance to the flag with the push of a button. Even in difficult lighting conditions, the bright LED illuminated display is clearly visible.

From a practical standpoint, the ergonomically built COOLSHOT AS is the perfect accessory. Compact, lightweight and waterproof, it fits easily into the golf bag and can be used in all weather conditions.

Nikon introduces new high-end products for hunters

Renowned worldwide for optical excellence since 1917, Nikon has recently made a serious investment for a bright future on hunting grounds all around the globe. The company is expanding its line of hunting and shooting optics with four new premium products: the Monarch 3 riflescope, Prostaff 5 IL riflescope, Prostaff 3 fieldscope and Prostaff 7 laser rangefinder.

These long-awaited updates to waterproof and fog-proof riflescopes won't disappoint. Both, the Monarch 3 riflescope as well as the Prostaff 5 IL riflescope offer fully multilayer-coated optical systems which rate among the best on the market. They feature spring-loaded instant zero reset turrets for quick and easy reticle adjustments in the field. Side-focus parallax adjustment allows for optimum accuracy over a wider range of distances.

The Monarch 3 riflescope comes in a variety of models (1-4x20 up to 6-24x50) and features a rugged one-piece tube construction that delivers excellent results for daytime hunters and sporting shooters. For twilight use the Prostaff 5 IL, with its illuminated reticle and 5-step intensity control, is the ideal riflescope.

Nikon’s sophisticated reticle technology offers hunters plenty of choice. The Prostaff 5 IL is available with either a Duplex reticle or BDC reticle. The BDC reticle allows hunters to hold “dead-on” at ranges previously thought impossible. The unique ballistic circles offer an incredible advantage, increasing aiming accuracy for long-distance shooting yet still offering a normal sight for shorter-range shots.

Even more reticle options are offered on the Monarch 3 riflescope. Depending on the model, these include the Duplex, BDC, Mildot, Fine Crosshair and Fine Crosshair with Dot reticle.

There are even more reasons to celebrate Nikon's latest additions to their hunting optics range. The lightweight, high performing Prostaff 3 fieldscope 16-48x60 comes with a compact tripod and durable carry case – it’s the ultimate “ready-to-go” package. Fully multi-coated lenses and prisms deliver razor-sharp images of stunning brightness. The perfectly adapted, wide integrated zoom eyepiece with high eye relief provides uncompromising comfort. Waterproof and fog-proof, the Prostaff 3 fieldscope is covered in protective rubber armoring and is designed for heavy-duty use in all terrain.

Rounding off Nikon’s new hunting optics portfolio is the waterproof Prostaff 7 laser rangefinder. Its distant target priority mode and bright LED illumination is ideal for quick and simple measurements in wooded areas. Being compact and lightweight, the new rangefinder hardly adds to the weight of rifle, binoculars and other hunting equipment.
