JOE MCNALLY - Location Lightning
Joe McNally’s live demonstration on location is complete with models and a variety of different lighting tools and techniques. He tackles simple one flash approaches to more complex, multi-flash scenarios because it’s about speaking with light and showing its many nuances. During this energy packed hands-on demo, you’ll see how one of the industry's best shooters and teachers works his way through the age-old question of: “How to light well and fast under pressure."
Joe McNally provides a hands on, in depth, dive into all manner of lighting techniques complete with models on location. The emphasis is on speaking with light, and crafting an appropriate lighting response to a specific face in a place. McNally leads by example, crafting a variety of potential solutions for the subjects at hand, and dealing with the location as difficulties and possibilities present themselves. The workshop attendees are split into small groups, and given an opportunity to photograph the models on a rotational basis. McNally rotates amongst the groups, offering insights and suggestions based on 30 years of lighting experience in the field.
